Confirmation of bookings

To secure bookings, either a 50% or 100% payment is required. Each operator has different policies. Once payments are received, the tour booking is confirmed, and full instructions are emailed.

Payment methods

Payments are accepted by credit card via OMISE Payment Platform. If customers have a Thai Bang Account, payment can be made this way.

Cancellations

Boat Tours – All boat tours, including yachts, large boats, long-tail boats, and speedboats, must receive cancellations from 24 hours to 3 weeks for a refund. Please check directly, as each operator has different cancellation policies.

Bangkok & Chiang Mai: 48 hrs before tour time, a 50% refund is given. 7 days before a full refund is given.

Tours cancelled in less than 24 hrs, no refund is given, 100% of the tour price is charged.

If minimum numbers are not met on boat tours, the operator will cancel the tour, offer an alternative date, or refund the money. The agent does not control this.

Private Land Tours – Cancellation required 24 hrs before the tour time to receive a full refund.

Private Land Tours : Cruise Ship Passengers – You will receive a full refund if you cancel 48 hours before the tour time.

Cruise ship passengers must pay 100% to secure a booking.

There is no refund after this point. If the Ship should cancel the morning of the tour, a cancellation receipt is given to claim on an insurance policy.

In the case where we should cancel, a full refund is given.

If the tour operator cancels the tour, a full refund is given.

Refunds are sent via the same route as received.

Weather conditions—If the weather conditions should change before or on the morning of the tour and the operator cancels, a full refund is given.

In instances where the customer has alternate days they can take the tour, the tour date will be moved on to a convenient date agreed upon by said customer.

If the customer deems the weather conditions not suitable and cancels, no refund is given and the full tour balance is requested where applicable.

Illness

If cancellation occurs due to illness, upon request, a receipt and confirmation will be granted for the customer to claim a refund from their insurance broker.

Administration Fee

If time has been spent designing customised travel or tour itineraries and the customer cancels, an administration fee of 500 THB will be deducted from the deposit plus any banking fees.
