Booking Confirmation
To confirm bookings, a payment of either 50% or 100% is required, as policies vary by operator. Once payment is received, the tour booking is confirmed, and detailed instructions will be sent via email.
Payment Methods
Payments can be made through the OMISE Payment Platform using a credit card. Customers with a Thai Bank Account may also make payments through this method.
Cancellations
Private Boat Tours – All boat tours, including yachts, large boats, long-tail boats, and speedboats, require cancellations to be made between 48 hours and 3 weeks prior for a refund. Specific cancellation policies differ by operator, so please verify directly.
Activities – Cancellations for group tours around Krabi & Koh Samui require 24 hours notice to receive a full refund. For 50 % deposits, the remaining balance is required if the cancellations occurs on the day of the tour.
Tours in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, cancellations made 72 hours in advance will result in a 50% refund. A full refund is available if cancelled 7 days before the tour date. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance, and a full charge will apply if cancellation is made on the day of the tour.
If the minimum number of participants is not met, the operator will either cancel the tour, offer an alternative date, or provide a refund. The agent cannot control either the captains decsion or the time that the cancellation notice is given.
Private Land Tours – A cancellation notice is required 24 hours before the tour time for a full refund.
Private Land Tours for Cruise Ship Passengers – A full refund will be issued if canceled 48 hours before the scheduled tour. Please note that cruise ship passengers must pay 100% to secure their booking. No refunds will be provided after this point. If the cruise ship cancels on the morning of the tour, a cancellation receipt will be provided for insurance claims.
In the event that we must cancel the tour, a full refund will be issued. Similarly, if the tour operator cancels, a full refund will also be provided.
Refunds will be processed through the same payment method used for the initial payment.
Weather Conditions – If weather conditions change before or on the morning of the tour, leading to the operator’s cancellation, a full refund will be granted. If customers have flexible schedules, the tour date may be rescheduled to an agreed-upon date.
If a customer believes the weather is unsuitable and chooses to cancel, no refund will be provided, and the full tour balance will be charged where applicable.
In cases where weather conditions deteriorate, or if the captain anticipates dangerous weather, the boat will return to shore for safety. No refunds will be issued if the tour is cut short.
Minimum Booking Requirements – Tours require a minimum of 8 participants for joint tours to operate. If this number is not met, the tour will be canceled, and a full refund will be issued. This may occur during low seasons.
Illness
If a cancellation occurs due to illness, a receipt and confirmation will be provided upon request to enable the customer to claim a refund from their insurance broker.
Administration Fee
If time has been spent creating customized travel or tour itineraries and the customer cancels, an administration fee of 500 THB will be deducted from the deposit, along with any applicable banking fees.
