The entry to Chaweng Beach, Koh Samui, is a topic often discussed among travellers. Why, you may ask? This situation is primarily due to the limited access points to Chaweng Beach, which often requires walking through hotels.
Among all the popular holiday destinations in Thailand, Koh Samui faces the most significant challenges regarding beach access. Chaweng Beach spans 7 kilometres, with many hotels built directly on it. Consequently, access from the road does not provide a view of the beach. Accessing the beach is mainly possible through hotels, many of which do not permit public entry, and many visitors are often reluctant to walk through hotel properties.
Below is our helpful guide for those not staying along Chaweng Beach who wish to access the beach without going through a hotel.
As an easy guide, attached for each entrance is an image taken from the roadside and the beachside. The beach entry points are mainly around Central Chaweng and the South.
